1.  Donate Online - a fast, secure method of donating, EKFH accepts Visa and MasterCard transactions.

2.  Pledges - A pledge is an ideal way to support EKFH on a monthly, bimonthly, semi annual or annual basis.  There are two options of setting up your pledge donation:

i)  EKFH will deduct the pledge amount from a credit card at each pledge interval.

ii) An automatic withdrawal is activated at each pledge interval once we have received from you a blank void cheque from your chosen account.

3.  Cheque - accepted at our office located in the East Kootenay Regional Hospital or by Canada Post to 13 24th Ave N, Cranbrook, BC V1C 3H9.

4.  Cash - accepted at our office or at any of the Interior Health Care facilities main administration offices.  

5.  Gifts of Appreciated Shares & Securities - bonds, shares and mutual funds, when donated to EKFH, are eligible for capital gains tax exemptions by the donor (based on changed made to federal taxation rules in 2006).  

Your donations will help us buy much-need healthcare equipment for all East Kootenay facilities, today and in the future. Whether it is an ultrasound, heart monitors, stretchers, laboratory equipment or bigger items such as CAT Scans, MRI and so much more.... with your support, this equipment will be there for you, your family, friends and neighbours.

The purchase of this equipment not only provides state-of-the-art technology for care and patient comfort... it invites highly-skilled medical personnel to consider the East Kootenay as the place to live and work but to come and share their talents for the good of all residents living in the region.

Donations which are not specifically designated by the donor are placed in East Kootenay Foundation for Health's General Fund. EKFH maintains over 30 individual funds in trust whose use is restricted to specific facilities or areas of health care.
