Cranbrook and Kimberley Save-On-Foods add to A Warm Embrace Campaign
November 19, 2024
Cranbrook and Kimberley Save-On-Foods have donated $7,400 to the East Kootenay Foundation for Health Warm Embrace campaign to bring a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at East Kootenay Regional Hospital. The funds were raised through a two-week campaign at both Cranbrook and Kimberley locations.
The Cranbrook store’s 100th anniversary party on November 5th wrapped up the Save-On fundraiser. Events at the party raised 20% of the funds towards the donation.
EKFH’s staff and board would like to congratulate Cranbrook Save-on-Foods for a 100 years and thank both the Cranbrook and Kimberley locations for all that they do to give back to the community.
The Warm Embrace Campaign has reached it’s $1.8 million campaign goal but will be continuing to accept donations until the end of the year. All extra money added to the pot through the end of 2024 will continue to improve neonatal and pediatric care at East Kootenay Regional Hospital.
