Kimberley Health Care Auxiliary Kicks off the EKFH Starlite Campaign

Christmas came early to the East Kootenay Foundation for Health (EKFH) with a very generous donation coming from the Kimberley Health Care Auxiliary Society (KHCAS). They presented the EKFH with a cheque of $100,000! This donation will go towards upgrading some very important surgical equipment in the OR department of the East Kootenay Regional Hospital.

The KHCAS has a membership of over 130 people. They run two amazing Thrift Stores in Kimberley and Marysville as well as the Loan Cupboard and they are 100% volunteer based. Brenna Baker, Executive Director for the EKFH said, “On behalf of the board and the staff at EKFH I just want to say thank you so much to each and every volunteer at the Kimberley Health Care Auxiliary. They are amazing hard workers and one of our largest supporters. We could not do the work we do without them! They support so many of our projects!”
