By donating to EKFH, you make a direct impact on healthcare in your community and/or the region. Your donations help EKFH buy much-need healthcare equipment for all East Kootenay facilities.
About Us
We rely on donations and gifts to provide vital, leading-edge medical equipment, patient comforts, furnishings and other essential items to the EK Regional Hospital and its many community health care facilities
East Kootenay Foundation for Health provides funding to the East Kootenay Interior Health region, serving a catchment area of over 85,000 British Columbians. This includes the East Kootenay Regional Hospital, Creston Valley Hospital, Invermere & District Hospital, Golden & District Hospital, and the Elk Valley Hospital.
We also support the Kimberley, Sparwood and Elkford Health Centres, five long term care homes, and various community health care programs throughout the East Kootenay Region.
It is because of our donors that we are able to accomplish the good work that we do in the East Kootenay Region.
Your impact for our 2024-2025 fiscal year included:
- More than 1000 donors
- Over $2.2 million in funds raised
- 5 hospitals, 3 health care centres, 5 long term care homes, and the NICU at East Kootenay Regional Hospital supported!
