Portable Ultrasound for the Golden & District Hospital
We are raising funds to purchase a second portable ultrasound for use at the Golden & District Hospital. These units can be easily operated by nurses and physicians, rather than requiring specialized techs, to provide immediate results to patients receiving care in Golden. Having a second one will improve diagnostics and treatment and save patients from waits for medical imaging results at times when they need them most.
Each unit costs around $80,000. Donate, share, and spread the word to help bring better health care home to the East Kootenay!
