Ultrasound Service has opened in the Invermere & District Hospital!

It’s official! Thanks to the hard work and generous support of our Beneath the Surface campaign donors, we’ve completed the upgrades needed to bring ultrasound service to the Invermere & District Hospital. The service is now running, ensuring that Columbia Valley residents don’t have to travel across the region for the medical imaging results they need.

The addition of ultrasound services at IDH will help repatriate 2,500 – 3,000 general ultrasound exams annually to the Columbia Valley region.

This care wouldn’t have been possible without our donors, many of whom were on hand last Wednesday to witness the ribbon cutting and grand opening of the new service. To each and every one of you who supported the new service, thank you for bringing better health care home to the Columbia Valley!
