L-R: Joyce Bull (Trustee), Nancy Van Oosten (Vice-President), and President Lisa Kennelly of the Ladies Auxiliary
to the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3032 celebrate with EKFH’s Sheilah Moore, Donna Grainger and
Eagles Charity Committee Chair, Steve Chisholm the $10,000 for mammography

This past Sunday, members from the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3032 and its Ladies Auxiliary helped light stars #14 and 15 at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital. The $10,000 Starlite Campaign gift is earmarked for the A Clear View- digital mammography fund; and thanks to this generous donation the journey to the one million dollar mammography fundraising goal presently sits at $584,147.

Proceeds from the Auxiliary’s pancake breakfasts, Christmas Craft fairs and an Eagles gaming grant has made a tremendous contribution to the ongoing two-year campaign. The gift also celebrates 16 stars lit and total donations of $77,695 for the Starlite Campaign.

This isn’t the only charitable fundraising the long-serving organization is undertaking; the North American wide fraternal organization and their ladies auxiliaries are also striving to build a $25 million endowment to build the Fraternal Order of Eagles Diabetes Research Center at the University of Iowa.
