Kootenay Savings Presents: Clearly… a Breast Friends’ Bash #2

Submitted by EKFH on 26-09-2012

Invermere, BC… Although the annual Celebrating Health Care Golf Tournament was cancelled in August, title sponsor Kootenay Savings continued supporting the East Kootenay Foundation for Health’s fundraising efforts for the A Clear View ~ digital mammography campaign by redirecting their support to an exciting upcoming celebration event on October 27.

Sheila Tutty, face of the A Clear View campaign for Invermere, and Kootenay Savings have joined forces to bring back the return of the ‘Clearly… a Breast Friends’ Bash’; dinner and fashion show  highlighting breast cancer survivors while also showcasing clothing from some of Invermere’s finest retail outlets. And of course, an always scrumptious meal from the Black Forest Restaurant!

This is not just a story about a celebration event; this is also about paying tribute to many other original golf tournament sponsors, players and volunteers who unanimously reallocated their financial sponsorship, donations and/or in-kind support to the ‘Clearly… a Breast Friends’ Bash’.
