Cranbrook, BC…

It was all smiles for East Kootenay Foundation for Health’s Starlite Campaign when Marilyn Christensen (aka PT the Clown) arrived with a gift of $500 for regional hospital’s pediatrics unit.

The lovable and talented PT the Clown donated a portion of the proceeds from the December PT the Clown’s Magic Show held on December 8 at the Key City Theatre. The magical Christmas party included a visit by The Christmas Princess Amanda Musso and was full of singing, dancing and a fabulous magic show.

PT the Clown… entertaining kids and supporting kids…. that is the true magic of her Christmas show.

The 2012 Starlite Campaign for Excellence in Health Care is focused on celebrating donors who are the foundation’s stars. Launched in November with the star sponsor East Kootenay Community Credit Union the campaign lit all 17 stars atop the regional hospital to celebrate the generosity of donors who helped bring the A Clear View campaign to completion thirteen months early. As of 04 January the campaign has surpassed over $90,000 in donations to various areas of health care and facilities.

A donation to EKFH in support of a specific cause or for the area of greatest need makes a difference in the quality of health care in the East Kootenay. To learn more about the many funds EKFH holds in trust visit www.ekfh.ca.
