Cranbrook, BC… Cranbrook Dairy Queen owners Trevor Weisbecker and Jamey Ballard recently celebrated their 4th annual Uncle Bud Caldwell Charity Day by making a $1,000 gift to the East Kootenay Foundation for Health.

EKFH board members Brian Clifford and Judy Gall teamed up with Bud’s daughters (Joanne, Liz and Janice) and the DQ team to help pour coffee and deliver tasty treats to many customers who dropped in to support the event.

Remembering their Uncle Bud has also benefitted the East Kootenay Regional Hospital with $6,500 in charitable gifts over the past four years that have been allocated to various areas of care including seniors comfort programs and diagnostic imaging equipment specifically the digital stereotactic mammography unit.

East Kootenay Foundation for Health is honoured to be chosen as the recipient of these gifts recognizing one of our community’s more memorable Cranbrook community ambassadors.
